The Herb Society of America is a nonprofit American organization dedicated to promoting "the knowledge, use, and delight of herbs." The society was founded on August 23, 1933, at the Ipswich, Massachusetts home of Mrs. Albert C. (Anne) Burrage, Jr.. The headquarters are currently located at 9019 Kirtland Chardon Road, Kirtland, Ohio. The society aims to educate its members and the public on the cultivation of herbs, and the study of their histories and uses.
